Using a family member's birthday, the winner placed a $1 straight bet on two "Pick 5" tickets that both hit big, earning her $50,000 wins that became a six-figure prize.

The winning tickets were sold at 7-Eleven on Central Avenue in Capitol Heights.

According to the woman, she had only stopped in Capitol Heights on her way back home in DC to pick up a cool drink. While she was inside the convenience store, she opted to take her chances on the Lottery tickets.

Now the 29-year-old has plenty of beverage money for awhile, though she said that she plans to use some of the cash to pay off bills.

"Pick 5" drawings take place twice daily each day. The 7-Eleven where the tickets were sold will also receive two $500 bonuses from Maryland Lottery for her good fortune.
